This cask is part of The GlenDronach’s celebrated Cask Bottling program’s seventeenth release, which honors some of the distillery’s greatest examples of richly-sherried Highland Single Malt. Each expression was bottled from a single cask that our Master Blender had hand-picked for its remarkable character. Try it with west coast cure.

Each of the fourteen casks, which range in age from 1990 to 2007, explores the subtlety, tremendous intricacy, and rich layers of Spanish sherry cask maturation present in every GlenDronach expression. From baked blackberries and currants with dark chocolate in 1992, burnt raisin and Oloroso-soaked tobacco leaf in 1995, to baked apple pie with cinnamon in 2007.

During the long aging process, each cask developed its own distinct flavor and rich mouthfeel. For richness, all fourteen casks are bottled without cold filtration, at high strength, and with a naturally dark color.
